For this semester, gym class has been so fun and also advantageous for my life. I realized in the middle of the semester how much impact your attitude towards activities you do affects your friends, classmates, and yourself. My friends and I have been trying to make gym class something we look forward to every other day. I have been cheering and encouraging people when they try their best during games. I also tried my best to help out with the equipments. For example, when we played capture the flag, my friends and I helped set up the cones, hula hoop, and the footballs and organize the game. During the game we cheered on a lot of out team members and had a great time because everyone had such a good attitude towards the game so we were laughing while playing most of the time. During fitness days, I do my best and work hard so I always have a red face and am very sweaty. If we are doing something like community run, I plan my pace so I would be able to keep going without stopping because I was out of breath. When we do something like insanity, I try my best to stay strong throughout the workout and if I can't do something, I would moderate it so that I wouldn't have to stand and not do anything the whole time.I have been posting blogs after most of fitness and I try to post interesting things that relates to the topic of 'fitness' on my blog. I always bring gym strip(usually running shorts and t- shirts or a tank-top and runners)and had my hair tied back, ready to work very hard for each class. Lastly, this semester, I tried to bring fitness and workouts to my everyday life. For example, I try to eat healthy snacks, like apples and other fruits. Although that doesn't happen all the time(because of the junk food in my pantry), I still try to incorporate healthy foods in my life. Also, I try to do activities like running or jogging with my dogs out side of school.Sometimes my friends and I go running at the park and that always gets me going for the weekend. I also do small little things like taking the stairs instead of the elevator or escalator when I go out. I joined hot yoga just a couple of months ago and I've been enjoying it. For these reasons I think I should get an A this semester for gym. I cant wait to work even harder for the next semester!

Shiho you are so cool... I love you blog!!! In the second half of the year let's continue to reflect on what you are "learning" not just what you are doing. What do you learn about yourself, your friends, the rest of class, being a leader, being fit, healthy eating... You have already started to do it, we just want to delve even more into how to set great personal goals by learning as much as we can. Thanks for always smiling, for always trying so hard your face is red, for being nice, and for being brave. You earned an A for sure. Keep it up!
