Final Portfolio Assessment
Social Responsibility and Contribution to the Class- The gym class I was put in was the best one out of all the gym classes I've ever had. I think that the people around you can have great impact in your attitude towards something. Luckily, I was with a lot of my friends, which gave me positive attitude so I was able to spread my positive thinking to a lot of the people in our class. I was also able to organize a sport during choice days when my friends and I weren't into the choices. We would bring equipments out and select the teams and get the games going faster each time we do it. During fitness days, my friends and I would encourage each other to keep going even if we are tired, which made everyone's end result better. All in all, I would give myself a 23/25.
Healthy Living - This year, I started to go running in my own time to improve my fitness levels. I believe that going out for a run had a huge affect on my fitness scores because I am now able to get above 9.5 without feeling as bad as I did in the beginning of the year. Also, the community run and the hill run doesn't seem so bad anymore because I also trained my mind to get stronger during the difficult times. I have been watching what I eat because all the hard work from fitness days or after school activities is nothing without a healthy diet. I also started drinking more water because I noticed the difference in my running results when I drink more water. I would give myself 24/25 for my healthy living.
Digital Portfolio and Reflective skills - I've been consistent with my blog posts and completed all the ones that must be posted. I have many pictures and videos of fitness, non fitness days and after school activities posted on my blog. I think my explanations of what I did have been thorough and clear. I would give myself 24/25 for my digital portfolio.

June 7/8 - Running on the weekend
On Saturday and Sunday, I wanted to do short distance running of 1 mile. I did the community run and I ran around the pond on Sunday. It was fun cause I took my dogs with me which made it difficult to keep the same pace for the whole time cause my dogs either get distracted or they hop around and sprint. Here are the results:

May 13, 15, 17 - Running
I went running 3 times this week because I had a lot of time and it was fun doing it. I saw improvements when I ran such as not breathing heavily and keeping up the same pace. It was weird to go running after school because its really hot unlike when I go running in the morning on Saturdays. Here are the results!!
May 16 - Hill Run
For fitness, the block went up to the hill by the city hall and ran up 7 times for each level. I was surprised about how I felt afterwards because I wasn't dying or anything. I ran with Nicole the whole time cause Gaby and Yulia were away that day ): however, I had so much fun with Nicole and I am glad that I'm in a gym class full of motivational people! Here's the result:
May 31 - New Community Run Route
For fitness tuesday, the block ended up doing the community run but with a different route. I think it was a good route because it involves me to run uphill. Since I really liked the route, I decided to run this route for my Saturday run with Gaby. It was so hot that day so it was extra tiring. I used an app called songza for my music and the playlist included songs that my mom would listen to and I was laughing on the inside during the run. Here's the result !
May 24 - Community Run
On the 24th, I did the community run on my own. Every time I do this, I feel myself getting less and less tired and I am happy to feel these changes. At the beginning of the year, I wanted to kill myself at a particular uphill during the run and now, I don't feel as bad anymore! I hope to do it again before the year ends to see my final result!!
