Participation - During the whole year, I managed to be on time, ready to go with my gym strip. It was a blast playing games as a class such as capture the flag, or ultimate. I believe that I participated well in both fitness, and non-fitness days. I think that the only time I wasn't feeling up for playing was the time the class played speed ball. I noticed that when I don't like something, I tend to bring negative energy along and not want to try and make the best of it. This something I need to work on during my high school years. To solve this problem, my friends and I usually organize another sport so at least we won't be standing around the whole class. My overall mark in participation is 22/25.
Social Responsibility and Contribution to the Class- The gym class I was put in was the best one out of all the gym classes I've ever had. I think that the people around you can have great impact in your attitude towards something. Luckily, I was with a lot of my friends, which gave me positive attitude so I was able to spread my positive thinking to a lot of the people in our class. I was also able to organize a sport during choice days when my friends and I weren't into the choices. We would bring equipments out and select the teams and get the games going faster each time we do it. During fitness days, my friends and I would encourage each other to keep going even if we are tired, which made everyone's end result better. All in all, I would give myself a 23/25.
Healthy Living - This year, I started to go running in my own time to improve my fitness levels. I believe that going out for a run had a huge affect on my fitness scores because I am now able to get above 9.5 without feeling as bad as I did in the beginning of the year. Also, the community run and the hill run doesn't seem so bad anymore because I also trained my mind to get stronger during the difficult times. I have been watching what I eat because all the hard work from fitness days or after school activities is nothing without a healthy diet. I also started drinking more water because I noticed the difference in my running results when I drink more water. I would give myself 24/25 for my healthy living.
Digital Portfolio and Reflective skills - I've been consistent with my blog posts and completed all the ones that must be posted. I have many pictures and videos of fitness, non fitness days and after school activities posted on my blog. I think my explanations of what I did have been thorough and clear. I would give myself 24/25 for my digital portfolio.
